How Far In Advance Do I Need to Schedule an Appointment?

As spring returns, the birds come back, school is winding down, and there are grad parties to plan we here at Daisy are there to refresh your carpets from a winter’s worth of dirt, slop, sand, and salt that has been tracked into your home. You’ve decided you need your carpet or upholstery cleaned now that spring has arrived, but how far ahead do you need to plan? This is a very common question, and the answer can vary a little day to day and by season. More often than not Daisy can provide you with a same day appointment if you contact us earlier in the day, and are flexible with your availability. Next day there is an even greater chance we can accommodate your scheduling needs. When you schedule your appointment with Daisy we will put you in for the date you request, and then the day before your scheduled appointment a Daisy representative will call to give you the two hour time frame within which the crew will arrive, and confirm the appointment. This, obviously, does not apply to same day or next day appointments for which you would be given the time frame at the time of your call. If you would like to request specifically an a.m. or p.m. appointment, or have limited availability Daisy Carpet Cleaning will do everything within our power to accommodate your needs and make the process as smooth and easy as possible for you. In general the further out you schedule the more accommodating we are able to be with more specific time frame requests. Daisy does clean six days a week Monday thru Saturday so if things are hectic during week days for you with work, kids, or whatever you have going weekend appointments are available! No matter what your cleaning needs may be Daisy is here to help with honest easy pricing, fast friendly service, and the power of our truck mounted steam cleaning systems. Call now or contact us online to set the appointment that works for you!

Two Carpet Cleaners vs One

Posted: January 27, 2012 — About Daisy,Minneapolis Carpet Cleaning

Does Daisy always send a two man crew to clean for you?

As a professional carpet and upholstery cleaning company our steam cleaning system is easily run by one person.  The truck mounted steam cleaning system which we use does most of the work for the crew.  This being said Daisy does often send two man cleaning crews to your home.  We do this in order to allow us to clean your home and do things such as moving furniture and navigating the vacuum hose through your home safely and efficiently.

Some examples of why we may send a one man crew to a job include:

  • If we have empty homes to clean in adjacent cities such as Plymouth and Maple Grove.
  • A job with strictly upholstery to clean.
  • A cleaning job with upholstery and a small amount of carpet.
  • Smaller carpet cleaning jobs.

By doing this it allows us to properly dedicate two cleaners to jobs which:

  • The carpeted area we need to clean is larger.
  • Have more furniture to move in order to clean the carpeted room.
  • Jobs which can be difficult to set up at (i.e. a third floor apartment in Minneapolis).
  • Commercial Cleaning jobs and jobs that may need multiple suites or condos cleaned in the same building.

These guidelines are by no means steadfast; Daisy Carpet and Upholstery cleaning sends two man crews to empty homes, smaller carpet cleaning jobs, and upholstery cleaning jobs every day.  However, we consider these examples when planning the cleaning crews to make the most efficient use of your valuable time and ours, and to be the best Minneapolis carpet cleaner we can be.  Whether you have a small or large carpet cleaning job for us, we’ve got the resources to handle it. Call today for an appointment or fill out our online contact form for same day carpet cleaning in Minneapolis.

Finding a Professional Carpet Cleaning Company in Minnesota

Posted: January 16, 2012 — About Daisy,Carpet Cleaning

We understand that shopping for a professional carpet cleaning service in Minnesota can be tricky and maybe even frustrating.  One tool that we think may help is using the Better Business Bureau. They have two methods to help consumers shop for carpet cleaning:

  1. Over the phone.  The phone number for the Minneapolis and St. Paul area is 651-699-0011.  All you need to do is follow the touch tone directions.
  2. Through their website.  The Minnesota BBB website can be accessed here –

Once you are at their site you will select “Checkout a Business or Charity”.  Then simply type the name of the carpet cleaning company into the search box.  Once you have reached the companies page you will need to sort through which information is important.

  • The first and easiest item is their letter grade rating.  If they have a C, D, or F, move on.
  • Length of time the company has been in business.  If the carpet cleaning business has been around less than a couple of years, I would proceed with extreme caution.
  • How many and what types of complaints do they have.  If a carpet cleaning company has a B rating but has had 30 complaints in the last 36 months, you need to be very wary.

Checkout Daisy Carpet Cleaning’s  BBB report.

Then call 952-432-6999 or email us to have three areas cleaned this month for only $128.95.
